Adsorption and Covalent Coupling Procedures
For usage in particle assay development plain polystyrene particles (sulphate), or particles with surface modifications like Carboxylate Modified, Amine modified require a coupling with antibodies, proteins, DNA, RNA etc.
This procedure describes the process of covalent coupling and its optimization steps. Prior to covalent coupling there will be always a partial passive adsorption to the beads.
